We’re a small Canadian breeding program obsessed with one thing: producing vibrant bearded dragons that are as healthy and even-tempered as they are beautiful. Here’s who we are and how we got here.
Our mission
Breed for the dragon, never for the dollar.
We started Red Hot Chili Dragons because we were tired of seeing animals treated like stock, sold too young, too thin, with no record of where they came from. We do it the opposite way.
Every dragon we raise is the product of deliberate pairings, proper husbandry, and daily handling. Our goal isn’t to move volume. It’s to place exceptional dragons with keepers who’ll love them, and to be there long after the sale to help them thrive.

No animal leaves underweight, unwell, or before it’s eating confidently on its own. Ever.

Every bloodline and morph is tracked and disclosed up front. No surprises, no guesswork.
Raised, not warehoused
Hatchlings grow up in full setups with proper UVB and heat, handled daily for temperament.

2008
Where it began
How we started
It began with one dragon and a lot of reading.
We bought our first bearded dragon as a pet back in 2008 and fell hard for their charming, curious personalities. Visiting expos and talking to reputable keepers, our little family of pets slowly grew, and so did the questions.
The more we learned, the more we fell for the deep, saturated reds, and how rarely they were available in Canada. So we sought out the best, adding exceptional bloodlines from trusted breeders in the United States, the Netherlands and Ireland, and tracing every lineage as far back as we could.
Today we’re still small by design. Only a select few pairs are matched each season. We’d rather raise fewer, better dragons than scale into something we couldn’t stand behind.
